Luss Ceylon Pottery is a Sri Lanka–based studio dedicated to crafting unique, soulful ceramic pieces. Each creation is shaped with care, patience, and a deep respect for traditional craftsmanship rooted in Sri Lanka.
Working with our own clay body, formed from natural minerals thoughtfully sourced from the earth, we use timeless hand-building and wheel-throwing techniques to create pottery that feels authentic, warm, and enduring.
Once formed, each piece is slowly dried and kiln-fired to strengthen the clay and prepare it for glazing. Our glazes are developed in-house, guided by strict standards to ensure they are food-safe, and are applied by hand with quiet precision.
Inspired by nature, our finishes reflect soft earthy tones, organic patterns, and subtle contrasts. The final firing transforms each surface into a smooth, durable finish—designed to be both beautiful and functional for everyday use.
